FANTASTIC NEWS SUMMARY 2023

It’s time again for a Good News Memo and this one is to summarize some of the great items from 2023! This one is pretty long because there was so much great stuff last year.

One primary purpose of these memos is to help everyone strive to duplicate the efforts described below to produce similar great results. Decide!

Darren Morris, MO – Just received the largest single client payment in Schooley Mitchell history! The best part – it’s not done with this client yet. This government agency client (utility) just paid almost $800,000 to me in June based on eliminating unused or redundant wireless lines, and there are more lines to be eliminated in the very near future. This next phase of wireless optimization will bring my share to approximately $1.8Million for this one client – this year! Wireline will be over $500,000 as well as we continue working through this client. Ashley Flach from head office has done a fantastic job finding these savings! Relationships matter – this client came from a paid referral source. (Editor’s Note – WOW, WOW, WOW!!)

Matt Denburg, CA – County client just increased the maximum contract value from $750,000 to $3,300,000…because we way outperformed everyone’s expectations…great job by Biljana and Brian and the Head Office team!

Rod Holter, KS – Signed $90Million company with 4 locations and have presented Value Reports for $75,000 annual savings so far with 13 cost categories still in progress…CEO was so impressed, he called personally and committed a related $100Million dollar associated company with 6 locations!

Neil Hostein, ON – Waste savings of $280,000 for client over 2 sites…no change of vendor and almost 60% savings!

David Dow, IL – Just learned that actual wireless savings for a large nonprofit, which were estimated at $75,000 per year, are actually tracking at $250,000+ per year. First month’s post audit savings delivered today for $21,300 for the month! GREAT JOB ELLIE – thank you for your patience and tenacity with this complex account.

William Sever, FL – We previously found annual savings of $65,000 for a hospitality client for Facilities Supplies…just wrapped up the Uniforms portion for additional savings of $163,000 per year which pushes the annual total to $228,000…that’s almost $700,000 of savings for this client for TUFS! (Editor’s Note – Congrats William as this is the largest TUFS savings since this new category was introduced earlier this year!)

Mitch McCoy, CA – Saved 48% of Propane costs for a non-profit client on top of 30% for telecom last month…it’s a large organization and will definitely generate referrals.

Rod Holter, KS – Just signed a $30Million dollar company for 8 categories…this was a long-term sale as I have been meeting with them for 16 months on and off…some clients require patience and others decide right away…this one will obviously be worth the wait!

Rob Newcombe, NS – My accountant now has a small Schooley Mitchell display in their client meeting room and it prompted two referrals from the accountant just last week!

David Dow, IL – ERC Credit filed for county YWCA for a refund of $257,600…a wonderful addition to their coffers to be used for their purpose (Editor’s Note – This ERC credit along with Mitch McCoy’s client from two months ago total more than half-a-million dollars back to 2 of our clients…we have two others as well bringing the total to close to $600,000!)

Julie Beaney, ON – Vendor Relations small credit recoveries for various Franchisees was $7,600 for October and now sits at $116,000 YTD…also negotiated away a large ETF for a client that had signed two contracts for the same services by mistake before Schooley Mitchell was engaged.

Seth Tenenbaum, MA – Manufacturing client I cold-called just signed off on Value Report for $110,000 per year in savings for 36 months…$60K for SPS and $50K for LTL…I’m also working on getting other categories! You never know. (Editor’s Note – Great month Seth! That’s $300,000 of income to you from these two clients!)

Darren Morris, MO – Added another $350,000 to wireline savings for my utility client…they are looking to extend to additional projects as well (Editor’s Note – Darren will receive over $1.5Million from this client in less than a year!)

Mitch McCoy, CA – EPP team was able to save 30% for a local Boy Scouts of America Chapter…as with all non-profits, every dollar counts!

Matt Denburg, CA – We just identified an additional $100,000 in annual savings for an existing client by helping them identify old copper voice and data circuits that they were no longer using.  Telecom carriers are aggressively decommissioning these legacy services or raising the prices drastically.  This creates a huge opportunity for us to help our clients.

Lyall Newby, NC – Client that didn’t renew Service Agreement for continued Waste reviews realized their cost were increasing within 4 months and just signed a new Service Agreement because I followed up.

Lee & Marla Balaklaw, KY – We just presented a three-year savings summary to our client showing that we saved them 54% more than the projected savings in the Value Report…the client is so pleased they just renewed with us for 4 years!

Marc Schwalb, PA – Working the new categories…Refrigeration company I have been trying to land for some time now…kept in touch and introduced compressed gases to them and they signed the Service Agreement for $170,000 in annual volume…will lead to the other expenses as well!

Darren Morris, MO – Recalibrating with existing clients over the past two months…have generated three supplemental recommendations that will extend billing relationship for 36 months with each of them.

Seth Tenenbaum, MA – Implementing a Travel & Tourism client for EPP…needed 65 new terminals and multiple accounts set up…will be completed by mid-June…my share will be more than $140,000 from this client.

Rich Bello, NJ – E-Commerce client implemented annual savings which will result in over $103,000 as my share…nice client for first seven months of my Franchise.

Neil Schwan, IL – Just implemented Waste savings of 66% for a Brewery after a long-term relationship…they now want us to look at Compressed Gases

Jeremy Hellman, VA – Saved 37% on waste savings for my Pet Shop client and received a credit back for a billing error for 3 times his monthly bill…clients love free services!

Matt Denburg, CA – Currently in the process of implementing more than $900,000 in telecom savings for the largest water district in the state of California – every year!

Lyall Newby, NC – Medical Waste client will be saving $1,800 per month and that’s not all locations…will also lead to SPS with spend of $2.5Million annually and Facilities Supplies with annual spend of roughly $150,000…client is thrilled with results.

Marc Schwalb, PA – Supplemental review at the one-year mark for my manufacturing client saved an additional $154,000 for SPS…client volume increased so we got them better tiered pricing among other tweaks!

Mitch McCoy, CA – Just signed a law firm that specializes in Non-Profits…the managing partner is in my networking group and her intention is to refer me to their clients after we complete analysis for their firm…they have more than 400 Non-Profit clients!

Seth Tenenbaum, MA – We have been saving about $50,000 per year for a client for the past year-and-a half with their incumbent vendor but now they have agreed with our Supplemental Recommendation to change vendors and will be an additional $100,000 in savings per year!

Amanda Chevrier, SK – Thrilled with major win with Property Management client with 7 hotels and growing…completed wireless analysis as a test category…got them activation credit of more than $40,000 plus $1,100 per month in savings…we passed the test! Just signed off on EPP with $66Million volume…and will find more savings on wireline, internet, waste, facilities supplies, and uniforms & linens.
