Each year we summarize a few of the fantastic items reported to us for the Good News Memo and this one is to summarize some of the great items from 2025! This one is pretty long because there was so much great stuff last year.

One primary purpose of these memos is to help everyone strive to duplicate the efforts described below to produce similar great results.

Fred Carter, OH – My Branding & Marketing multi-national client just approved implementation for $1,200,000 in Small Package Shipping savings for their US division…great job Hamilton O’Dea…Canadian division is next! (Editor’s Note – Great stuff Fred!)

Neil Hostein, ON – Municipal client has implemented savings of $332,000 for Wireless and we are just starting to invoice our share…also another $280,000 for Wireline and Data is being implemented now…4 other categories to come including Waste & Supplies

Charles Carriere, LA – My multi-location Dialysis Clinic client just signed off on $10,300 in monthly savings for approximately $124,000 per year…that’s over $60,000 per year of me as my share from this client…that’s for Wireless only at this point with more to come for Small Package Shipping and EPP

Patrick McElderry, SC – Medical/Pharmaceutical client saved more than $10,000 per month for over $120,000 per year on their EPP costs with no switch of vendors…that’s $180,000 plus to me over the Service Agreement…great work Brianna!

Darryn Thiessen, MN – Marisol did a great job identifying almost $37,000 per year for EPP savings (70% of spend) for my Manufacturing client…the client originally said ‘no’ to our services but I stayed in touch and when they changed CFO’s they saw the value of Schooley Mitchell…savings across all categories is estimated at over $80,000 per year…that’s $120,000 as my share over the agreement

David Dow, IL – We estimated $4.700 in monthly savings in the Value Report for my SPS client for 42%…November actual savings were $16,000 for 52%…monthly monitoring and Post Audits matter – great stuff Pamila and the Post Audit team!

Matt Nagy, CO – My biggest month since starting my Franchise during the pandemic – billings of $40,000 to my clients in the month!

Darryn Thiessen, MN – Education client just saved $172,000 on their Waste…they still had 27 months to go on their 36 month contract with the vendor but Katie in the Waste Department still negotiated these savings with the incumbent vendor…that’s $86,000 for me…the Finance Director was so pleased he shared the results of our report with the District Finance and Facilities Committee to showcase our great work!

Marc Schwalb, PA – Just received sign off for 4 categories for an Electronic Services Company for a total of more than $57,000 in annual savings…that’s over $85,000 to me over three years from one client!

Rich Bello, NJ – Reported at our Annual Conference that he has received 38 referrals from his BNI Chapter because he executes our Specific Asks strategy to the tee

Joe Gilmer, OH – One-upped Rich by telling us that he has receive 43 referrals from his BNI Chapter by doing the same thing (Editor’s Note – What a great exchange!)

Seth Tenebaum, MA – Value Report completed for my Retail client for over $46,000 in annual savings for EPP…will add $61,000 to my revenue for the Service Agreement

William McKissock, FL – Completed Value Report for my large Financial Services client for $111,000 in annual SPS savings…that will be $167,000 as my share over the Service Agreement term

Lee & Marla Balaklaw, KY – We just submitted our 7,000th invoice to a client. That’s an average of 49 invoices per month for 12 years! It’s all about consistency and persistence. (Editor’s Note – Absolutely fantastic!

David Don, ON – Great win for one of my Manufacturing clients…just saved them $160,000 for Telecom…Alyssa (Telecom analyst) did a fantastic job moving from a paltry $900 to $160,000 through persistence, discovery, and negotiation…the client is now at $700,000 in overall savings in several cost categories with 2 more to go!

Stephen Silhan, NY – Signed a $3Billion Community Bank with 33 locations…they also have mortgage, investment, insurance and funding businesses…first step is Telecom expenses…many thanks to Jim, Rob, Greg, and Billy from head office for their help on this one!

Miguel Cardenas, ON – We are already saving my Retirement Homes client almost $260,000 in Waste savings every year and just added another $15,500 in annual savings for an additional location through a Supplemental Value Report

Jon Horn, CT – Construction client Value Report completed for more than $133,000 savings per year for Telecom and Small Package Shipping…my share is approximately $200,000 for Service Agreement

Matt Nagy, CO – Just received a Value Report for future savings for over $80,000 per year in Waste savings for a Home-Owners Association community…yep, $40,000 per year to me from this one HOA…big kudos to analyst Crystal Card!

Richard Warring, AB – Great work Brianna – My Ski Resort client will save $104,000 per year for EPP with a vendor change…that’s $156,000 for me over the Service Agreement term!

Darren Morris, MO – Existing client – large Manufacturer where we found $660,000 in SPS savings…during implementation Hamilton discovered an account with a business unit that had not been presented to us…added $90,000 in savings so now the total is over $750,000 for this client

David Dow, IL – Just delivered savings of 84% for Waste to my State Veterinary Association…the Executive Director presented the findings at their recent Board Meeting, who then voted me to be their partner for cost reduction for 3,000 members! Great work Kathleen Berube! – Sometimes the percentage is even more powerful than the dollars!

Carter Luciani, GA – Just signed my largest client ever…50 times bigger than my previous biggest client…the CFO was about to sign for Telecom only, which would have been great but then the owner said, “what are you doing? Give her all of it. – They signed for 10 categories!

Kyle Loveless & Tania Cheng, TX – Country Club client saved $73,000 per year for 29% on their Uniforms & Linens costs with incumbent vendor who has also promised improved customer service – big win all around – over $200,000 for the next three years in savings

Darren Morris, MO – Successfully helped a large manufacturer consolidate and improve their small package shipping spend by over 36% resulting in $680,000 in savings! This work has directly resulted in signing another large client as well as another cost category with this original client. Hamilton, (SPS analyst) did a remarkable job – kudos!

David Dow, IL – One of my first non-profit clients, who is on their second Service Agreement with me, just received $288,000 in ERC reimbursement. The funds will help them retain and expand their sexual abuse program, which was being threatened, as well as complete their new facilities.

Sanjay Lukule, BC – We are just implementing Fuel savings for my Trucking client for $122,000 per year…that’s $61,000 per year for me…will be a great story to help secure more clients in this industry.

David Don, ON – My large client that is already receiving several hundred thousand dollars in savings in other categories analyzed by us last year will be saving an additional $50,000 for Compressed Gas savings…team was able to remove the Energy Surcharge and the Product Surcharge as well as cap annual inflation through our negotiations with the vendor. We have completed 6 categories for this client with 2 more to go…savings just keep piling up!

Mitch McCoy, CA – Largest client for me to date… eCommerce company approved the SPS VR with just over $250,000 in yearly savings…that’s $125,000 per year for me…huge thank you to HO and the SPS team (especially Hamilton!) for helping me clear some hurdles along the way. Also, big thanks to David Don, ON (and his client) for agreeing to speak with my client about their SM experience.

William McKissock, FL – My large Financial Services client is already saving a lot of money through our work on SPS…they have now asked us to look at SPS for their 1,500 offices including 3,800 Financial Professionals and support staff…this will be huge!

David Dow, IL and T.D. Thompson, MA – Delivered additional savings of $66,000 for Supplies on top of $150,000 for Waste for a large Catholic Charities in New England

Luca Servino, CT – A strategic partnership with fellow Franchisee, Seth Tenenbaum (MA), courtesy of our Annual Conference, allowed me to use his vertical win success story to obtain a similar construction client…just delivered savings for Wireless for $420,000 for the Service Agreement ($210,000 for us)…more to follow

Mitch McCoy, CA – My client’s SPS savings were estimated at approximately $126,000 for the service agreement at just over 10% but the first two post audits have indicated savings of $36,000 more ($162,000) in extra savings running at approximately 15%

Michael & Olga Moriarty, VT – Saved our Compost client $226,000 on their EPP – that’s $113,000 for us!

Mitch McCoy, CA – Completed Value report for SPS for Retail Mattress Client for savings of $251,000 per year with a vendor switch…that’s $376,000 to me over the term of the agreement

Jim Lichtenberg, OH – Just saved a client $90,000 per year on Waste with no vendor change…client said. “Jim…you just paid for a person…great work, let’s find more! And we did…just saved an additional $15,000 per year on Uniforms & Linens and more to come!

Rod Holter, KS – Saved my manufacturing client $77,000 per year for SPS in Value Report for 40% savings…9 months later we did a Supplementary Value Report and saved another 39% for an additional $36,000 per year…now approaching $125,000 per year for Small Package Shipping…many thanks to Hamilton in SPS Department
