Client Size

We have the ability and systems to provide our services to the largest clients in North America. We have provided service to Ford, Sony, Pepsi, Mattel, Orange County and San Mateo County in California, the New York Power Authority, Aecon Construction Group, and many others. Some Franchisees choose to offer services to a few large clients, as opposed to a wider breadth of various sized clients, and that is certainly their choice.

The differentiator at Schooley Mitchell is that we have crafted our tools and our systems to be able to provide our service very profitably with businesses of all sizes, including small, medium and large businesses.

Many Franchisees will build their business more quickly with smaller and medium sized clients to provide for quicker cashflow, stability, churn, and multiple referral sources, as opposed to experiencing longer sales and analysis cycle with large clients. They may also pursue the larger clients at the same time and experience the best of both worlds.

This strategy also protects against ‘overtrading’ where if a Franchise has only a few large clients they are at significant risk if something goes wrong with one of a few. With a mix of clients as opposed to relying on only a few there is much less risk, much more stability, and more value to the business at the time of sale.

Programming Staff

We have nine programmers that spend everyday improving our systems, tools, software and databases. These tools and systems are very important in terms of analyzing cost categories fully and correctly. They are also designed to help our Franchisees to run a very efficient and profitable day-to-day business. The systems and tools created are multi-million-dollar assets that are available to all Franchisees through the Schooley Mitchell system. 

Research & Development Department

We are committed to improving our business every day. We are adding new cost categories on a continual basis. However, we will not do so until we have mastered the category and have created proper analysis tools to ensure all results are completely optimized and absolutely correct. We will never be ‘jacks-of-all trades’ and add categories just because they exist but we will always strive to provide perpetual profit opportunities to our Franchisees by providing well researched options for them. That is the exact mandate of our R&D department.

Negotiating Clout – Database of Invaluable Information

We have created solutions for more than 32,000 clients. That data from those solutions is a significant tool to determine if the prices received or negotiated for a client are the optimum prices available. Knowing how low a vendor can go based on a database of prices already obtained is priceless – and unique.

We also have a database of more than 5,100 vendors with significant contacts at each company as opposed to just the customer service or sales reps.
